We are delighted to be supporting Maths Week London, which takes place across the capital from 26-30 June.

This year’s theme is ‘Everyday Maths in London’, and if you visit the website, you can download resources, register for free events, or participate in competitions.

Events

We would love you to join us at our events.

Which Career? – Meet people working in different roles (online)

Students will hear from and get a chance to ask questions of people from the world of work about how they use maths and different skills that are essential in their roles.

Neurodiversity and Other Barriers to Learning (London Screen Academy).

An opportunity for teachers to explore ways of teaching maths to students who are dyslexic, dyscalculic, dyspraxic or suffer from maths anxiety.

Resources

We have also toured the city taking photographs of some of the capital’s iconic landmarks for a special London edition of our Where’s the Maths in that? resource.

Share a picture and ask for ideas of what maths might be involved – no right or wrong – just a chance to initiate mathematical discussions. There are also prompts to help you get started.

Westminster, London, England.

We’d love to hear how you get involved. If you’re on Twitter, please check out @mathsweekldn and @AMSPLon_SE and share using #MathsWeekLDN #EverdayMathsLDN.
