ReadWith the increasing number of schools, colleges and students engaging with the Level 3 Core Maths qualification, the AMSP in the West Midlands held its first Birmingham Core Maths workshop of the year on 22nd November.

ReadWe’ve recently hosted two twilight CPD events for new teachers of mechanics. Introduction to Mechanics at A level for Beginners was held on 15 November and 6 December 2018.
ReadIn September, the University of Birmingham and the AMSP began another year of Maths Club, the programme’s fourth consecutive year helping Year 12 and 13 students in the West Midlands.
ReadOctober is always a busy month at the University of Wolverhampton. We have already run two one day CPD courses, and a West Midlands Teacher Network Meeting.
ReadThe autumn term meeting of the Coventry and Warwickshire A level Teacher Network is just around the corner! On 21 November, A level teachers will gather at Cardinal Newman Catholic School in Coventry to explore resources related to the use of technology at A level.
ReadThe AMSP is continuing to collaborate and work with local Maths Hubs and the NCETM to ensure the West Midlands receives the best Level 3 education support available.
