Important information
Your school/college is eligible for the additional subsidies for professional development courses if all of the following apply:
- You are working at a school or college located within a TSMA.
- The course fee, where applicable, has been paid by the school or college.
- You fully and actively participate in the course.
Courses may have additional payment criteria. Please check the subsidy details on the course webpage before making an application for a place.
During the application process, you will be asked to provide financial details for your school/college. These will be used to pay the subsidy.
*For one-day (in-person) courses, eligible schools and colleges will receive £200 per teacher up to a maximum of £400. If more than two teachers from the same eligible school or college apply to attend the same one-day course, the total subsidy paid to their school/college will be capped at £400.
For most courses, we accept applications from teachers who do not work in the state sector; however, course fees may apply. Information about eligibility and fees is provided within course details. In all cases, teachers from state-funded schools and colleges are given priority when allocating places to oversubscribed courses. For further details, please see our statement on funding and eligibility for AMSP professional development courses.
