Problem solving is a key skill needed in the new A level Mathematics. Our student/teacher problem solving conference is a day for students in Year 12 and their teachers will take place at Leeds University on 10 July.

It offers a great opportunity to develop students’ problem solving skills, whilst providing teachers with ideas for introducing problem solving into the curriculum. Teachers will also attend a workshop which will provide information about the various university entrance tests for maths, and the support that is available to help prepare students for them, particularly the well known tests such as STEP and MAT.

This day will be useful for any student that might be considering applying for university courses with entrance test requirements, but will also benefit any student who simply wants to improve their problem solving skills. Find out more by visiting the events listing.
