Both students and teachers learnt a lot from the Year 12 Problem Solving Day at Queen Elizabeth’s School in Wimborne, Dorset on 23 January 2019. We were lucky to have such a knowledgeable and experienced team presenting at the event. Attendees explored cross-curricular problems, practised the art of writing and communicating maths, sampled some STEP, MAT and TMUA questions, and won some chocolate, mugs and books in the FunMaths Roadshow!
Students left with a wealth of top tips for higher level problem solving in maths, which will not only support them in any university admissions test they may take, but will also enforce the problem-solving element of their A level study. A big thanks to Queen Elizabeth’s School for hosting the event!
