Fiona Kitchen, AC for Coventry, Solihull and North Warwickshire

The autumn term meeting of the Coventry and Warwickshire A level Teacher Network is just around the corner! On 21 November, A level teachers will gather at Cardinal Newman Catholic School in Coventry to explore resources related to the use of technology at A level. Tom Carpenter (AMSP and Central Maths Hubs) will lead the session with particular focus on how teachers can use the dynamic mathematics software, GeoGebra, to enhance student understanding and their own teaching. This network will meet termly and will be a great opportunity to connect with teachers in the local area, sharing best practice whilst receiving specialist advice.

Our thanks to Cardinal Newman for regularly hosting these meetings. For more information you can find this meeting on the AMSP’s events listing. Future meetings are scheduled as follows:

  • Autumn term – 21 November 2018 – Use of technology at A level
  • Spring term – 3rd April 2019 – Review of 2018 exam papers
  • Summer term – 26th June 2019 – topic TBC
