Are you, or do you know, an A level student that is planning to sit one or more of the STEP (Sixth Term Examination Paper) in the summer of 2020? If so, our new online course, STEP Online, would be highly beneficial to aid with preparation.
The STEP is an admissions test used primarily by the University of Cambridge and the University of Warwick. Participants on this course will be introduced to maths problems at the difficulty level of the STEP and offered support for preparation, including discussion of past papers and access to extra notes and exercise sheets and solutions.
STEP Online consists of ten hour-long online sessions with a course tutor, covering topics such as:
- Dividing by zero
- Curve sketching
- General solution of trigonometric equations.
Sessions will run from February through to June, with exact dates to be confirmed at the most convenient time for participants once we have received bookings. The cost of this course is £160.
