The AMSP provides a wide range of professional development for GCSE Mathematics teachers.
Our Raising Confidence and Discover GCSE Maths courses are nationally organised professional development days that support the teaching of Higher Tier GCSE Mathematics. They’re free to attend for teachers working in state-funded schools and colleges, and run at different venues across the country. Also available to teachers across the country are our Live Online Professional Development (LOPD) and On Demand Professional Development (ODPD) courses. You can view all of our national GCSE maths professional development on our website.
We also aim to meet the needs of GCSE Mathematics teachers locally in the North West region. Following the success of the North West GCSE Online Winter Series, the North West GCSE Online Summer Series will take place towards the end of the academic year. All sessions will take place after school and will be online. Keep an eye on our regional events page and encourage your colleagues to subscribe to receive our latest news on this event and more!
Finally, we also provide bespoke departmental professional development sessions for state-funded schools and colleges. These sessions can be arranged to fit into your departmental meeting slots, making them highly convenient for you to arrange. Please contact your local Area Coordinator for more information on what’s available to you locally.
