A host of new dates have been announced for the AMSP’s Raising Confidence courses, with opportunities now available in many locations nationwide.
The Raising Confidence courses aim to enhance teaching of 11-16 maths, particularly in subject areas affected by recent changes to the GCSE. Three one-day courses are available, which focus on embedding classroom strategies for teaching reasoning, problem-solving skills and higher mathematics. To get the most from Raising Confidence, it is suggested that a teacher from your school attends all three days.
New dates have been added across the country, with courses taking place until early 2019. Register now to secure a place on a course near you.
Through government funding, the AMSP is able to offer Raising Confidence courses for free. Additional subsidies are also available to enable more teachers to participate. For more details, visit out subsidies page.
