The Leeds area held two of the AMSP’s popular Year 10 enrichment contests, Maths Feast. Between Horsforth School and Dixons MacMillan Academy, over 80 students and their teachers attended from 12 local schools. They digested all the ‘courses’ very efficiently, but the Network Comprehension Round went down particularly well, giving students a flavour of A level Further Mathematics with applications. Hopefully, all students were inspired by what they learnt and went away wanting to know more about A level Mathematics and Further Mathematics.
