Over the past term, a number of schools from across South Yorkshire have taken up our offer of delivering online Maths Clubs for Year 9 and Year 10 students. The sessions have been delivered direct to individual schools via the school’s online platform of choice.
The clubs that have taken place so far have covered a wide range of topics from outside the school curriculum, such as:
- Graph Theory
- Four Colour Theorem
- Perfect Number and Mersenne Primes
- Triangular Numbers, Magic and Latin Squares
The sessions are led by a member of the AMSP Yorkshire and the Humber regional team and make use of Desmos activities. The students that have taken part so far have really enjoyed the experience and have returned to take part in all subsequent sessions.
