On 8 April at the University of Wolverhampton, we’re hosting a new professional development day focused on the overarching themes of the current AS/A level Mathematics and Further Mathematics specifications. Problem Solving at Higher Level is a hands-on, practical day designed to explore structures and strategies for problem solving, mathematical argument, reasoning and proof, and modelling. There will be a range of activities and resources, and all materials will be shared electronically in an editable format. There will be time to consider how the ideas can be used to build student resilience, curiosity, confidence and success.
The day covers a mixture of A level Mathematics and Further Mathematics topics, but participants are not expected to have full subject knowledge of the specifications. Find out more about the event and book today!
