Subject Knowledge Live | A level Further Maths: Pure Foundations is a live online professional development course in our Subject Knowledge Live suite. The synchronous sessions will concentrate on the modelling of subject knowledge delivery, including the use of technology, and will cover content from all major specifications for A level Further Mathematics. Examples of pedagogy will be modelled by the tutors, and participants will be encouraged to share their approaches. This is a foundation course designed to support teachers who are new to teaching Further Maths and will concentrate on four key topics which underpin the compulsory Pure content of AS Further Maths.
Course features:
- Four online sessions, approximately weekly, each up to 90 minutes long
- Access to course-specific teaching and learning resources in our Integral online platform
- A year of access to resources and recordings of the live

Who will benefit from attending?
Any teacher currently based in a state-funded school or college who signs up for this course is also encouraged to apply for our free On Demand Professional Development course On Demand | AS and A level Further Maths: compulsory Pure top-ups.
This course will be of particular support to teachers who are new to Further Maths and who wish to prepare to enrol in our Extended Course, Teaching Further Maths 1 (TFM1).
