Next Steps for your A level students is a four-week online professional development course designed to help teachers enrich the mathematical experience of A level Mathematics students. The course aims to equip you with effective strategies to support students with making choices, UCAS applications and university transition.
Through focused, practical sessions, you will consider a range of strategies for supporting, stretching and advising your students. You will gain an overview of the preparation needed for university admissions tests such as TMUA, AEA, and STEP.

This course is for teachers working with post-16 level 3 students, as they are considering their next steps beyond A levels and Core Maths.
The DfE provides funding so that places on this course are free to teachers from state-funded schools and colleges in England. For those who do not meet this criterion, the course fee applies.
Priority will be given to teachers in state-funded schools and colleges in England. Where we have spare capacity, we extend our support to other teachers and operate a waiting list.
