Our Further Mathematics Conferences offer an opportunity to refresh your subject knowledge, explore effective teaching approaches and pick up ideas you can use in the classroom straight away. Designed for teachers of AS and A level Further Mathematics, these events include sessions for colleagues with different levels of experience, whether you are new to teaching the course or looking to deepen and extend your practice.
Across the conferences, you can choose from a range of sessions spanning pure mathematics, mechanics, statistics and discrete mathematics. You will also get guidance on supporting students with university admissions tests. Each year offers something new, making these conferences valuable for both first-time and returning delegates. The DfE provides funding so that places on this course are free to teachers from state-funded schools and colleges in England. For those who do not meet this criterion, the course fee of £115 will apply.
Priority will be given to teachers in state-funded schools and colleges in England. Where we have spare capacity, we extend our support to other teachers and operate a waiting list.
These conferences are suitable for teachers who are currently teaching AS or A level Further Mathematics, as well as those who expect to teach it in the near future.
Yes. We welcome both first-time and returning delegates, and each conference programme includes fresh content and new ideas.
