Overview

The NW GCSE Summer Series consists of four 1.5 hour ONLINE professional development sessions on GCSE Maths.

This session will focus on teaching graphs and functions.

Aims

  • To develop strategies and gain access to resources for teaching graphs and functions in GCSE Mathematics
  • To develop strategies to engage learners and enrich their GCSE Mathematics lessons

Who will benefit from attending?

Teachers of Higher Tier GCSE Mathematics.

Content

In this workshop we will:
•       Consider teaching approaches to support students with graphs and functions
•       Explore a range of resources and activities designed to challenge students to think, reason make connections and develop a deep understanding of graphs and functions

Materials and Equipment
