Problem Solving for Grade C StudentsOnline
Many teachers have concerns that middle attaining students are struggling with the problem solving requirements of the new specifications. This course has been devised to attempt to meet these needs.
- To consider approaches to teaching that will support the mathematical understanding of typical A level students
- To consider strategies for supporting problem solving for these students
Who will benefit from attending?
All teachers of A level students who share these concerns and wish to discuss teaching approaches
We will look at strategies which could assist middle attaining students in progressing towards their predicted A level grades. There is no magic bullet, but we believe these ideas could form the basis of a departmental strategy for addressing the issue.
