Using GeoGebra for A Level Mathematics



This course is aimed at A level Mathematics teachers who want to make more effective use of technology in the classroom. The use of GeoGebra will be explored for both teaching ideas and student tasks. There will also be a focus on using GeoGebra for the large data set.


  • To improve your skills in using GeoGebra in the teaching of A level Mathematics.
  • To explore activities for student use of GeoGebra.
  • To develop your skills in using GeoGebra to investigate the large data set.

Who will benefit from attending?

This course is suitable for all teachers of A level Mathematics. No previous experience of using GeoGebra is expected. 


  • An introduction to using GeoGebra
  • How to create basic files for teaching
  • Student tasks for using GeoGebra
  • Using GeoGebra for the large data set

Materials and Equipment

Delegates are requested to bring a wifi enabled laptop.
