Join fellow A level teachers for a one-day conference packed with practical, classroom-ready approaches to teaching problem-solving at a higher level.
Throughout the day, you will discover creative and practical ways to support your students with everything from university admissions tests to those more general “Where do I even start?” moments. You will also get the opportunity to network and share ideas with like-minded colleagues teaching the same content as you.
Across the conference, you will consider strategies for raising student aspirations, including creating a safe environment for students to attempt challenging questions.

The DfE provides funding so that places on this course are free to teachers from state-funded schools and colleges in England. For those who do not meet this criterion, the course fee of £115 will apply.
Priority will be given to teachers in state-funded schools and colleges in England. Where we have spare capacity, we extend our support to other teachers and operate a waiting list.
If you are eligible for a funded place, you should know within 10-15 working days if your application has been approved.
If you are not from a state-funded school or college, then you will be put on a waiting list and will be contacted prior to the event starting, letting you know if your application has been successful or not.
All A level Mathematics teachers would benefit from attending the conference, regardless of experience.
The theme of the conference is the same each instance throughout the year, but the content changes each new academic year, with new sessions focusing on different topics or aspects of the problem-solving process. We therefore welcome both new and returning teachers.
