Overview
This course is intended for teachers who wish to develop their understanding of 3 key topics of the Year 12 Further Maths A level course including particular aspects that students find harder within the compulsory pure topics. It is suitable for teachers who will be teaching further maths for the first time.
Topics:
Complex numbers including loci
Matrices with a focus on linear transformations including invariance
Proof by induction including divisibilty

- To use technology to support teaching
Who will benefit from attending?
Any teacher who is due to teach Year 1 Further Mathematics from September 2023 or wishes to deepen their understanding of some of the trickier techniques.

Please bring the calculator you and/or your students use. There will be Casio CG50 and Casio fx991 EX calculators available to borrow.
Eligibility
Teachers from state funded and independent schools are wlecome.
