Overview

Following the announcement of the government’s new funding arrangement for Core Maths, many schools and colleges are now in the process of determining how they can best run the course next year. This webinar is aimed at members of senior leadership teams, heads of sixth form and heads of maths departments. In this webinar we will aim to address the following questions:

  • Which curriculum models exist and what are the benefits and limitations of each?
  • What incentives are there for students to study Core Maths and how do schools ensure that students are made aware of them?
  • Which version(s) of Core Maths would work best in our school or college?
  • How do schools ensure that the right teachers are teaching the course and what can they do to guarantee that prospective Core Maths teachers make a good start in September?

There will be opportunities to ask any additional questions you might have about the course. We will be running this event twice (once in February and once in March) so please select the date that suits you best.

Who will benefit from attending?
