Overview

The Teacher Network is an AMSP-funded project allowing teachers of maths to meet, to collaborate and to share professional development. We meet regularly and the programme is a mixture of interactive discussion and speaker-led training events.

We will be focused on introducing pure, mechanics and statistics topics and considering some tips and tricks to engage students. 

You will be led by Jordan Senior. Who has 9+ years experience teaching A level Maths. With his knowledge, he has been leading and innovating A level practice for a federation of school. You will be able to find out more about him via his LinkedIn.

Please do sign up if you are interested but not sure if you can make it. It is possible to cancel closer to the time.

Aims

• Develop strategies for teaching engaging A Level lessons.
• How to proactively identify misconceptions and tackle them.
• Be a part of a network of teachers that share similar experiences and questions.

Who will benefit from attending?

This event is designed for those completely new to teaching A level Maths, or have had only one year of experience.

The number of years you have been a teacher does not matter. We hope that what we cover across the year may influence your teaching of other key stages.

This event is free and open to anyone that is new to teaching A Level Maths at schools, colleges and FE institutions.

Priority spaces are given to state-funded institutions.
