Content

Raising Confidence with Technology aims to develop the technology skills of secondary teachers. These skills are transferrable across all aspects of maths teaching, but the content mostly focuses on Higher Tier GCSE topics. If you have a focus on a different phase of secondary mathematics education, please make the course tutors know on the day so they can support you.

There will be opportunities to share ideas and strategies for working with students and technology. Delegates will be given resources, as well as having the opportunity to create bespoke files to support their students. There is full tutor support throughout the day.

Materials and equipment

Delegates are requested to bring a laptop or tablet which can access the internet. WiFi will be provided at the venue. The day will focus on Desmos software, though delegates can use other software for parts of the day if they prefer. No previous experience of using the Desmos software is required.

Cost

This course is free of charge to teachers working in state-funded schools, colleges and academies in England.
