Overview
There will be a range of engaging speakers, competitions and students will enjoy interactive maths workshops with the opportunity for students to meet enthusiasts of their own age from other schools.
The emphasis of the day will be that mathematics can be both fun and challenging.
Aims
- To provide students with presentations and activities that stimulate mathematical thinking
- To inspire students to want to choose to study maths after GCSE
Who will benefit from attending?
We hope that you will be able to bring a group of up to 16 Year 10 students who would benefit from the challenge of this event, and maybe some students who would benefit from continuing to study maths after GCSE but have not yet made up their minds.
