The second round of Core Maths Conferences in the academic year came to Gateshead in January, and was well received by attending delegates. It was clear that all staff currently teaching Core Maths find the qualification both enjoyable and worthwhile, and would recommend the course for future students. This is echoed by the sign-ups to the Core Maths Work Groups that will be run by the AMSP in conjunction with Maths Hubs. Those interested in the North East Work Group should contact level 3 lead Eleanor Baggaley as soon as possible as groups are nearly full.
