Are you wishing to build confidence in teaching the mathematical requirements of A level Biology, Geography or Psychology?

Applications are open for our Maths for Teachers of Other Subjects courses, which begin in October. These courses explore the fundamental mathematical content in A level Biology, Geography and Psychology.

Overview of courses

We’ve partnered with various associations to offer these fantastic courses. Each course will explore a range of mathematical content and model approaches for teaching this content in the classroom. You’ll also explore wider pedagogical approaches, strengthen cross-curricular links and collaborate with colleagues on a broad range of questions.

All courses will consist of a series of interactive live online sessions. Each session builds on knowledge gained in previous sessions, so we recommend attending the entire series if possible.

Courses on offer

Each of these courses is free of charge to teachers working in state-funded schools and colleges in England. All teachers are eligible to apply for these courses, but priority will be given to those from state-funded schools, colleges, and academies.

Conference

Also on offer is our Maths for Teachers of Biology, Geography and Psychology Conference!

This free one-day professional development conference will feature a range of optional workshops that focus on the mathematical requirements of your subject. You’ll also gain strategies and ideas to use in the classroom and get the opportunity to develop confidence in working with real data using technology.

The next conference is taking place on 22 November in Birmingham.
