The AMSP works closely with Maths Hubs to provide a coordinated offer for promoting and delivering level 3 maths to schools and colleges. In the South, we are in constant communication with Sussex, Surrey, Solent and the BBO (Buckinghamshire, Berkshire & Oxfordshire) Hubs, as well as liaising closely with their supporting charity, the National Centre for Excellence in Teaching Mathematics (NCETM).
BBO Maths Hub is running a Core Maths Work Group in Oxford, with two exciting sessions for new, prospective or experienced Core Maths teachers to attend. The Work Groups will look at teaching statistics on 28th March, and mixed ability teaching on 10th June.
