Our popular online enrichment events for students in Years 7-11 will return this academic year, with events running across the autumn term.
This year, we’re running four different online enrichment events, which are all aimed at students who would benefit from studying level 3 maths after GCSE though you may also want to consider other students within your school or college. You can stream our online enrichment events into your classroom or send the link to students so that they can participate at home.
Space!
Looks at some of the challenges faced in space travel and their ingenious solutions, and draws on your students’ reasoning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Which Career? – Meet people working in different roles
Features three guests who’ll talk about how they use maths in their careers and take questions from students about the different skills that are essential in their roles.
Maths is everywhere
Demonstrates how and why maths is used in so many other subjects, with students choosing which subjects we’ll discuss in detail. Students will also work on a question relevant to the subject they chose.
The Connected World
Develops your students’ problem-solving skills, which are vital for success at GCSE, and introduces ideas to support investigating how the number of people that we know affects the number of steps needed to reach one another.
All of our online enrichment events are free to attend.
