The AMSP hosted an A level Mechanics Professional Development Day last term. This one-day event allowed teachers to develop their own subject knowledge and classroom practice. Teachers were shown some practical demonstrations of mechanics principles such as moving up and down in a lift when standing on a weighing machine.
Some of the teachers’ feedback were:
- “Great insight on modelling. Gave me a heads up on A2 Mechanics.”
- “Super simple experiments to use in my classroom.”
- “The course was pitched at the perfect level for me and I learnt a lot from discussing questions with other teachers. Excellent speaker.”
