Unexpected Maths: Applications of Mathematical Intrigue and Inform is a fantastic enrichment day is aimed at Year 8 students, designed to extend students’ experiences up to and beyond GCSE Mathematics. All students will be able to attend 3 out of a possible 5 workshops (the students will be allocated to these sessions). The five sessions will be a mixture of topics such as ‘Maths of the Rubik’s Cube’, Coding and Mathematical Trickery. All students will be included in the final session, ‘Mathematical Magic’ by Zoe Griffiths.
