Supporting Core Maths Work Groups are a collaboration between the Maths Hubs and the AMSP. The first Manchester meeting of these Work Groups took place in December. Please do not worry if you missed this first meeting – there is still an opportunity to join in and we would welcome new contributions. Work Group members choose a focus and plan activities to undertake in between meetings with their Core Maths class. These include developing cross-curricular approaches, student-led presentation and working with preliminary materials. Teachers who participate in these Work Groups tell us that their own classroom practice improves as a result of these opportunities to work collaboratively.
