After a year away, the London & Kent KS5 Teacher Network will return on Wednesday 3 July. As in previous years, this is a one-day professional development opportunity with a big emphasis on celebrating the wonderful teaching that takes place in our classrooms.

We want to continue to celebrate the quality of your teaching and so we will once again start by asking everyone to share a resource that has worked well in their classes. This resource can be from any area of secondary maths and need not be purely post 16. By sharing a resource, you gain access to all of the resources shared by all the other teachers. Not bad when we expect around 80 teachers will attend!

As before, we will run three workshops with the opportunity to attend two, why not bring a colleague so that all workshops can be attended by your school/college? This year there will be a workshop on Core Maths, AS/A level Mathematics and Further Mathematics. There will also be a keynote speaker. Previous speakers have included Ben Sparks and David Spiegelhalter.

For now, we can confirm that the day will take place in Central London. More details will be sent out to teachers signed up to our Stay Informed list when they become available, but why not get ahead of the game and ask for permission to attend this July 3rd?
