The 2020 Kent and Medway Secondary Maths Conference will be held in the Sibson Building at the University of Kent on Thursday 9 July 2020.
The conference will follow the same format as last year but the process for booking workshops will change, based on feedback that we received in 2019. We will now ask you to book your workshops prior to the event to allow us the option of running the most popular workshops more than once, as it is our intention that everybody will be able to attend their workshops of choice.
Teachers will select three workshops out of fifteen (which cover the full range of secondary maths), and will also attend two plenary presentations led by Jenny Laurie (St Marylebone School) and Don Steward (Median). It will be an outstanding day of professional development.
Generous funding from the AMSP and the Kent and Medway Maths Hub allows us to offer this conference free of charge to all state-funded schools. Please keep an eye on the AMSP events page, as booking will be available very shortly.
