Stephen Wilkinson, Regional Lead for the East Midlands
AMSP Teacher Network Meetings are informal get-togethers for maths teachers after-school once or twice each term. Working in collaboration with the regional Maths Hubs, Teacher Network meetings support teachers of GCSE, Core Maths, AS/A level Mathematics and Further Mathematics.
In the East Midlands, the AMSP currently runs three networks:
- Derbyshire – organised by Ria Symonds, this network meets each half-term. Meetings are often held at Derby Moor and Ockbrook Schools.
- Leicestershire – organised by Nicki Timson, this network meets around four times a year. Meetings are normally held at Loughborough University.
- Northamptonshire – organised by Chris Luke, this network meets once a term. Meetings are normally held at Sir Christopher Hatton Academy, Wellingborough.
We are planning to start a Teacher Network in Lincolnshire in the near future. Please contact David Tuhey for more information.
Networks are listed on the AMSP events living. All teachers are welcome!
