More schools and colleges are offering Core Maths, and more students want the opportunity to take it. Core Maths can help your school or college to retain and attract students.
There are possible financial benefits for your school or college. The Advanced Maths Premium funding could provide £600 for every additional student studying Core Maths.
Core Maths also contributes to performance measures – featuring in both the level 3 maths measure in 16-19, and in the Technical Baccalaureate performance measure.
The AMSP runs Core Maths Conferences and Core Maths Teaching Workshops to support your introduction and development of this qualification. We can also provide Core Maths enrichment events in your school to help you recruit students on to the course.
Please contact your local Area Coordinator or Stephen Wilkinson to arrange a meeting.
