Regional finals of the Senior Team Maths Challenge (STMC) have taken place all over the East of England and the rest of the country. The competition is jointly organised by the UKMT and the AMSP, promoting teamwork and problem-solving skills with rounds including a Group Round, a Cross Number and a fast-paced Shuttle Round.

We are especially grateful to the host schools and venues in the East of England: Longdean School in Hemel Hempstead, Merchant Taylor’s School in Middlesex, Arthur Mellows Village College in Peterborough, Billericay School in Essex, City of Norwich School, Northgate High School in Ipswich and the Centre for Mathematical Sciences in Cambridge. Winners from these regional finals, including Harrow School, Watford Grammar School for Boys, Stanborough School, INTO UEA, the Perse School, Colchester Royal Grammar School and King Edward VI Grammar School, have been invited to compete in the national final of the competition in London in February. Some high scoring runners up will also be invited to the national final once all of the regional finals have concluded.

Interested in AMSP enrichment? Bookings are now open for our team competition for Year 10 students, Maths Feast. Places can be reserved today.
