Teachers can now sign their students up for the Senior Team Maths Challenge (STMC). The competition runs in venues across the UK this autumn, giving students the opportunity to put their mathematical, communication and teamwork skills to the test. Find your nearest competition by browsing our events listing.

Students from Year 11 to Year 13 are invited to work in teams of four to tackle a variety of maths problems. Events will be held at schools and universities in November and December. The winning teams of each event will be invited to compete in the grand final, held in London next February.

The STMC offers students the perfect chance to develop important problem-solving skills. Participants can get their practice in early by using the free resources and materials from previous years of the challenge.

The Advanced Mathematics Support Programme (AMSP) organises the STMC annually in partnership with the UK Mathematics Trust (UKMT).
