The AMSP’s range of convenient LOPD courses are returning in early 2020. Teachers of GCSE, A level Mathematics and Core Maths can choose from a list of titles:
- GCSE Problem Solving
- Core Maths common topics
- Key Stage 5 Coordinator Development
- AS Maths: Pure Absolute Beginners
- AS and A level Maths: Statistics
- AS and A level Maths: Mechanics
- A level Maths: Pure (Year 2).
Our LOPD courses aim to develop teachers’ confidence through easily accessible professional development, led by an expert. The content is delivered weekly through an online classroom, where course participants are encouraged to interact and discuss and exchange teaching ideas with fellow teachers.
The sessions will last between 60 and 90 minutes, providing a great opportunity for teachers to take part in professional development without taking whole days away from school or college. Our range of LOPD courses will begin at the end of January 2020.
Courses participants who are currently working in a state-funded school or college are eligible to apply for a full reimbursement of the course fee. Please visit our subsidies page for more information.
