Students who are anticipating sitting the Mathematics Admissions Test (MAT) or the Test of Mathematics for University Admission (TMUA) can now apply for two of our online courses, each designed to aid with preparation for these tests.
Online course for the MAT
- Helps students prepare for the mathematical admission test used by the University of Oxford and Imperial College.
- Sessions include Coordinate Geometry and Trigonometry, Curve Sketching and Integration, and Algorithms and Counting.
Online course for the TMUA
- Helps students prepare for the mathematical admission test used by Durham University, the University of Warwick and Lancaster University.
- Sessions include Proof, Logical Thinking, and Polynomials and Logarithms.
Starting in September, both of these courses will consist of seven one-hour online sessions. Each course will review test questions, examples from past papers and exam technique, and participating students will be able to access extra notes, exercise sheets and solutions online.
Students can apply for one, or both, of these courses.
The fee for each of these courses is £60, though there are some funded places available to those eligible.
