In January, the AMSP East Midlands regional team will be hosting an Inter-School Maths Quiz for Year 8 and Year 9 students across the East Midlands region.
The quiz has been designed so that you can run it with an entire class, split into teams of two or three, or even with individual students working remotely. Each team will need a computer, tablet or smartphone so that they can submit their answers online.
The quiz can be included as part of your lesson with a Year 8 or Year 9 class. It’s only 30 minutes long and will be offered at various times on a number of days so that as many schools as possible can participate.
Schools can enter as many teams as they wish, in as many time slots as they wish. Scores will be shown for each particular session, and we’ll collate scores to decide the heat winners after competition days are complete.
