We’ve opened applications for our summer series of Live Online Professional Development (LOPD) courses!
Our LOPD courses enable you to take part in professional development from your choice of location and without having to take whole days away from school or college. We’ve designed them to help you to develop your maths teaching with confidence in a convenient, stress-free way.
From April, we’re running LOPD courses for teachers of GCSE Mathematics, AS and A level Mathematics, and/or Core Maths. The following courses are open for applications:
- AS and A level Maths: Mechanics
- A level Maths: Pure (Year 2)
- AS Maths: Pure Absolute Beginners
- Higher GCSE topics through mathematical thinking
- AS and A level Maths: Statistics
- Core Maths common topics
- Key Stage 5 Coordinator Development
- AS Maths: Pure Improvers
The courses are delivered by experienced tutors who lead sessions over a number of weeks in an online classroom. We encourage participating teachers to interact and discuss ideas with each other, enabling you to form valuable connections with others who teach the same subject as you.
All teachers are eligible for our LOPD courses, however free places are available only to teachers in state-funded schools, colleges and academies in England. Applications for free places will be checked to verify eligibility. The course fees can be found on the individual course pages.
