Programme Overview
The Maths into AI programme supports students and teachers to build confidence in the maths behind data science and artificial intelligence (AI).
It shows how mathematics underpins machine learning and AI, helping learners and teachers understand the relevance of these skills for further study, teaching and future careers.
The student programme offers courses which build on MEI’s popular Data Science Courses. Our Maths into Data Science and AI course is offered for both A level students and students who are studying other level 3 programmes with a mathematical content, such as Core Maths, A level Computer Science or A level Statistics.
For teachers, the programme offers professional development that explores the mathematics behind data science and AI, with courses designed for both A level Mathematics teachers and Computer Science teachers.
