Our sustained courses are now open for applications
Thursday 21st May 2020
Three more of our sustained professional development courses are now open for applications:
- Teaching Mechanics 1 (TM1)
- Teaching Statistics 1 (TS1)
- Teaching Discrete Maths 1 (TD1).
All of these sustained courses are delivered over six months and aim to improve teachers’ subject knowledge and build upon their pedagogical skills.
These courses will begin in September or October 2020 and run until early 2021.
We are waiving our usual course fee/reimbursement arrangements so that all of these courses are free of charge to teachers working in state-funded schools and colleges in England. For others the course fee for TM1, TS1 and TD1 is £300. Schools and colleges located within Priority Areas are eligible to receive a subsidy of £250 per study day. Please visit our subsidies page for more information.
The AMSP also has two more sustained courses which are currently open for applications – Teaching Further Mathematics 1 (TFM1) which starts in July and Teaching A level Mathematics (TAM) which starts in November.
