Ever wondered what makes a maths puzzle go viral on social media? Or why maths tricks you learnt at school stay around for years? Maths Tricks to Blow Your MindOpens a new window by Kyle Evans might help you unravel those mysteries! Kyle is a Maths lecturer at Baron Peveril College in Eastleigh and has performed his maths comedy shows at numerous events and festivals.

The book covers things from Hannah’s sweets to those annoying Facebook posts that are basically simultaneous equations with images, to tricky BIDMAS problems that are out to cause big arguments in the comments. The puzzles included all have some basis in maths and are presented in an amusing and light-hearted way that will prove a hit with your 'non-mathsy' friends (or at least claim to not be interested in maths...)

Included in the dialogue are some of the controversial comments and commentary which provide an insight into why some of the puzzles and questions have gone viral or not! Having investigated why, Kyle writes about his attempts to make a puzzle go viral… does he succeed? You’ll have to read the book to find out!

All in all, it's a great read and would be the perfect Christmas present for your friends and family who love a puzzle.
