Applying for Maths at University

Thursday 15th July 2021

Back in June, we held a fantastic event aimed at students who were thinking about studying maths at university. The session included speakers Professor Tony Mann from Greenwich University and Dr Luciano Rila from UCL. They gave an insight into the areas of maths that are explored, the style of study, tips on the application process and, of course, the future career opportunities for a maths graduate.

This event saw our first trial of streaming an event on Vimeo, where we encountered some teething problems which meant that we had to stream the event on a different link to that which was sent out earlier in the day. You or your students can view the event recordingOpens a new window online if you weren't able to attend on the day. You can also view information on how to support your students' transition from A level Mathematics to further study on the AMSP website.
