Introducing On Demand Professional Development

Tuesday 20th November 2018

The AMSP is pleased to announce On Demand Professional Development (ODPD), a new and exciting approach to professional development that is fully flexible to teaching needs.

Our innovative self-paced courses allow teachers to study at their own speed, accessing online lessons and resources at their convenience. Teachers are supported via collaborative forums, where they can share ideas with a course leader and fellow participants.

Access lasts for a whole year, meaning teachers can adapt their learning to fit alongside the demands of everyday life. Signing up is flexible, too – all ODPD courses are there to join whenever you need them.

All of our On Demand Professional Development courses are free to state-funded schools or colleges.

The first ODPD courses will be released in the coming weeks. The following secondary maths topics will be accessible first, with more areas in development for the spring term.

  • Preparing your students for the MAT and the TMUA
  • GeoGebra in the Maths classroom
  • Spreadsheets and the Large Data Set

A mailing will be released when ODPD is available for booking, so make sure you’ve signed up to stay informed with communications from the AMSP.
