Our Next Steps for your A level students course is now open for bookings.
Course Structure
This free online programme is designed to help you confidently support students as they plan their next steps beyond post-16 maths.
With university admissions tests like TMUA, MAT, AEA, and STEP becoming increasingly common – not only for studying Mathematics but also for courses like Computer Science and Economics, it’s more important than ever that both students and teachers understand what to expect and feel prepared.
Updated Content
Our Next Steps for your A level students’ course has been revised and updated to cover all of this, and more. The free, four-part online programme is available to teachers at state-funded schools and colleges and runs across the academic year, with the first four-part course starting in October, and another in January. The Zoom sessions will cover:
- Supporting students in making informed choices for further study
- Broadening students’ mathematical experience
- Understanding admissions assessments with mathematical content
- Preparing students for TMUA, MAT, AEA, and STEP
Sessions run after school, from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm, and are scheduled on different days to help fit around your timetable – making the course easy to access alongside your teaching commitments.
