Summary

These webinars are intended to support teachers and curriculum managers with embedding the AQA Level 2 Further Mathematics course within their curriculum for KS4 and will focus on how to introduce and manage the specification. The session will require active participation in discussion with other teachers.

Aims

• To familiarise teachers with the introduction, implementation and embedding of the AQA Level 2 Further Maths course
• To consider how this course fits with GCSE Maths and how it can support students with progression for further study in maths
• To share experiences with other teachers and provide a forum for discussion of experiences around the embedding of this course.

Who will benefit from attending?

• Teachers and curriculum managers in schools where there is an intention to implement this course soon or where it has recently started
• Teachers who wish to learn how this course complements and extends the study of GCSE Maths under any specification
• Teachers with an interest in enriching and extending the classroom experience for students of Higher GCSE Mathematics.

Eligibility

All teachers who are currently working in a school in England are eligible for this series. Priority will be given to teachers in state funded schools, colleges and academies.
