Since Monday 23 March 2020, the AMSP, like the rest of the country, has moved to online provision. Although we have delivered professional development online for a number of years, this term has seen a huge uptake in the numbers of teachers who are accessing our Live Online Professional Development (LOPD).
We offer a wide range of online professional development and, in their feedback, many teachers have commented that they really appreciate the opportunity to undertake professional development at this difficult time, particularly as they are able to access recordings of the sessions if they have to miss live sessions for any reason, which is becoming more frequent as schools start to welcome pupils back. We have also been incredibly lucky to have Douglas Butler, who is the co-author for Autograph, deliver two online sessions which focused on using Autograph for teaching pure and statistics content in A level Mathematics.
