The Desmos graphing calculator is a free tool that can be used on a number of different devices: laptops, tablets or phones. In this course, we will look at how the effective use of Desmos can help to deepen students’ understanding of mathematics at both GCSE and A level.
This course will support you in developing your use of the Desmos graphing calculator. This is a very easy-to-use tool that will help you to integrate the use of technology into both your GCSE and A level mathematics lessons. Every session throughout the day will include graphing calculator skills and a discussion of how this will impact students’ learning. Deeper use of other aspects of Desmos may be explored depending on the attendees.
